Partner of the digiBridge Project

Aschaffenburg University of Applied Science (THAB) and the Lviv Polytechnic National University (LPNU) are partners of the digiBridge project, which is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

Aschaffenburg University of Applied Science was founded in 1995 and currently has over 3,300 students. Its degree programs are business-oriented, innovative and predominantly interdisciplinary. Business and law as well as engineering are offered here, Bachelor's and Master's degrees can be obtained.

Lviv Polytechnic National University was founded in 1816 and is the oldest technical higher education institution in Ukraine and Eastern Europe. Today the university has 16 institutes, 114 departments, as well as autonomous, additional and general sub-departments.

    digiBridge persues defined objectives

    The project’s objective is to push internationalization and digitization. Communication between the two universities is also to be consolidated in the long term. This supports the communication between Germany and Ukraine. The specific goals of the project are:

    digiBridge activities

    The realization of objectives within the project is a blended learning course for students, who will keep in touch afterwards in the Participant-Alumni-Group and Buddy-Network. The training for professors will guarantee the ideal implementation of the course.

    Blended Learning Course

    The course "Entrepreneurship in Germany and Ukraine" focuses on business development in the two countries (6 ETCs). Joint implementation through the universities with country-specific content and cultural events is part of the course.

    Participant-Alumni-Group and Buddy-Network

    Exchange students from partner institutions network to foster long-term communication and cooperation.

    Training for professors

    Develop sustainable best practice sharing for online and blended learning to expand internationalization and digitization. Supporting digital teaching at LPNU through THAB.
